Terms of Service
Effective date: 5 October 2026 · Applies to the Trident iPhone app and this website
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Rohit Narayan, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as “Trident” (“Trident”, “we”, “us”), address 42 Rectory Way, Ickenham, Uxbridge UB10 8BS, United Kingdom. They cover your use of the Trident iPhone app and this website (together, the “Service”). By downloading or using Trident you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
2. Who can use Trident
- You must be 18 or over. The app asks you to confirm this on first launch.
- Trident is for iPhone only and is distributed through the Apple App Store. It is aimed at users in the UK, Europe, the United States and Canada.
- There are no accounts. You are responsible for your own device and your Apple ID.
3. Apple's terms
You must also comply with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”) and the App Store terms. In particular: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Trident or its content, maintenance, support or any claim about it. Apple has no warranty obligation for Trident beyond refunding the purchase price where the law requires it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. If these terms conflict with the Apple EULA on a point Apple requires, the Apple EULA prevails.
4. What Trident does
Trident curates Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates routines from free online creators, lets you import links you already follow from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook, save routines, build 7-Day Plans and set reminders. Trident does not host or play videos: it opens the creator's own link in the relevant app, or in your default browser if you don't have the app.
We may add, change or remove routines, features or the Service itself over time. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect paid features.
5. Free and paid features
| Free, forever | Trident Plus (£0.99/month) |
|---|---|
| Browse the entire routine library | Save routines (bookmarks and favourites) |
| Discover and Import from social media | Build and follow 7-Day Plans, with optional reminders |
| Open any routine's link | Includes everything in Free |
6. Free trial, subscription and billing
- Free trial. New subscribers get 7 days free. Everything in Trident is available during the trial. You won't be charged during the trial. The app reminds you on day 6 that the trial is about to end.
- Price and renewal. After the trial, Trident Plus costs £0.99 per month (or the local-currency equivalent shown at purchase), charged to your Apple ID account. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Apple handles payment. All billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds are processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or through Manage Subscription in the app's Settings tab. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period (or the trial) ends. If you cancel, you keep access to Plus until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Price changes. If the price changes, Apple will tell you and, where required, ask for your agreement before you are charged the new price.
- If your subscription lapses, routines you saved stay on your device and remain viewable. Paid features such as saving new routines and using 7-Day Plans stop working until you resubscribe.
7. Refunds and your cancellation rights
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee once billing starts. Because Apple processes payments, you request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple makes the final decision on each refund. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you also have statutory rights, including (where they apply) a right to cancel digital content or services within 14 days, which may end once you start using paid features with your agreement. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
8. Health and safety
Trident provides links to third-party exercise content for general fitness and wellbeing purposes only. Nothing in this app constitutes medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme.
Exercise carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for deciding whether a routine is right for you, for exercising in a safe space, and for stopping if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort. Trident does not verify the content or safety of third-party routines, and does not make claims that any routine will help you lose weight, treat a condition or achieve a particular result.
9. Third-party creators and platforms
Routines link to videos and posts made and owned by independent creators and platforms (for example Yoga With Adriene, Jake Mace, Blogilates, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook). Trident is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them. Their names are used only to identify the content. Their content, availability, terms and privacy practices are theirs, and may change or disappear without notice, in which case a link may stop working. We are not responsible for third-party content.
10. Your content and imported links
When you import a link, Trident keeps only the link and the short description you add. You are responsible for what you import and must not use Trident to store links to content that is unlawful or that infringes anyone's rights. Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export it from the app's Settings.
11. Our licence to you, and ownership
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Trident on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, as permitted by the Apple EULA. The app, its design, text, logo and the Trident name belong to us or our licensors. Except as these terms allow, you must not copy, modify, sell, rent or distribute the app, or try to extract its source code, remove notices, or circumvent the paid-feature controls. This does not limit any right the law gives you that cannot be excluded.
12. Acceptable use
Please don't misuse Trident or this website. For example, don't try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to them, don't use them for anything unlawful, and don't send us abusive or harmful messages.
13. Availability and support
We aim to keep Trident working but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be unavailable for maintenance, because of problems at Apple or third parties, or for reasons outside our control. For support, contact us through the contact page. Apple is not responsible for providing support.
14. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, you also keep the rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (that digital content is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described) and equivalent laws where you live.
Subject to that, we are not liable for: loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach; third-party content or services; injury or loss arising from your decision to follow an exercise routine; or business losses (the Service is for personal use). Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (through Apple) in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £50 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so some of this may not apply to you.
15. Ending your use
You can stop using Trident at any time by deleting the app and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop providing the Service (in which case we will give reasonable notice and, for prepaid periods, a fair refund through Apple). Sections that are meant to continue after the end of these terms, such as ownership and liability, will do so.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we change the Service or the law changes. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app or on this website before they take effect. If you keep using Trident after the effective date, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, you can stop using it and cancel your subscription.
17. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and where you live elsewhere (such as the EU or Canada) you keep the mandatory consumer protections and the right to use your local courts. If you are in the US, nothing in these terms removes protections that apply to you under the law of your state. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@tridentfit.app and we will try to resolve it.
18. General
These terms, together with the Apple EULA and our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Trident. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor to Trident.
